In 2023, Queen of Peace School added 10,000 square feet of new space
Five new classrooms and a state-of-the-art STEM lab are currently being used for:
• preschool
• kindergarten
• fourth grade
• fifth grade
• after-school care
• science and environmental education
Expansion brings excitement and learning opportunities
Groundbreaking on Phase 1 of our building plan began in late June 2022. Three new classrooms and two single-use bathrooms were added to the south side of campus, which now house preschool classes and one of two kindergarten classes. On the north side, a 1600 square foot STEM lab was added. This space opens to the courtyard with garage doors to create a very versatile space for environmental education lessons and the collaborative use of technology. Additions across the hall include two classrooms for 4th and 5th grade, a multi-use and single-use bathroom and extra storage. On June 6, 2023, Archbishop Sample visited Queen of Peace School to bless the new building spaces.
Building on Success
With all the excitement surrounding the new classrooms and STEM lab, it’s important to note that the most recent addition to the school was only Phase 1. Phase 2 will enable us to grow the school to meet the needs of even more families. Your donation to our “Building on Success” Campaign will support the addition of four new classrooms to allow for two rooms per grade, and a mixed-use space for music and art classrooms that will also function as a youth center for the parish.
