Extended Care

At Queen of Peace Catholic School, we are pleased to offer a flexible extended care program designed to meet the needs of our busy families. Morning care is available to all students, while afternoon care is only available to full day students. Preschoolers who are in the half day program may not attend after care, and preschoolers in the 3 day per week program may not attend care on their non-school days. 

Extended Care Hours

• Morning care is from 7-8am, and students are escorted to their classrooms at 8am.
• Afternoon care is offered from dismissal daily until 5:45pm.
• Care is included on conference and in-service days with adjusted hours (8am-5pm).
• Care is not offered on the first day of school and holidays (Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, MLK, Presidents’ Day, Easter Monday and Memorial Day).
• Christmas break, spring break and summer care are separate programs with their own registration, and are not guaranteed to run. 

Cost

Childcare costs are determined annually and are subject to adjustment each school year. 

No snacks or food are provided during extended care. Families are encouraged to pack their student an additional snack to be had during extended care. 

2026-27 Rates 

• Afternoon care only 5 days: $350 per month
• Afternoon care only 3 days: $290 per month
• Afternoon care only 2 days: $240 per month
• Afternoon care only 1 day: $180 per month
• Morning and afternoon care 5 days: $570 per month

Sign-ups occur during the enrollment process. Registration will be finalized in late summer.
