Jogathon Sponsorship

Support Queen of Peace Catholic School – Become a Valued Jogathon Sponsor

By partnering with Queen of Peace Catholic School, your business or family will support QP’s mission, while also gaining great marketing exposure to our families, friends and extended community.

There are 3 levels of Jogathon Sponsorship to choose from:

T-Shirt Sponsor – Limited to one business per year, this level of sponsorship covers the cost of Jogathon t-shirts for all students, teachers and staff. Your business logo will be featured on the back of the shirt. This is a great way to support our school and don’t be surprised if you see your logo around town as more than 300 Queen of Peace students and staff members proudly wear their shirts well beyond Jogathon day. Thank you to Cascade Tire for sponsoring our 2026 t-shirts!

Community Partner – $1,000 – This level of sponsorship lets the whole QP community know that your business enthusiastically supports not only the Jogathon, but the mission of our school. Your business logo will be featured on a banner (4 ft. x 2 ft.) attached to the fence that will be viewable from the drop-off / pick-up line every day from Jogathon day, October 16, 2026 – June 2027.

Jogathon Partner – $500 – This level of sponsorship lets your family or business show their support for our school and our Jogathon runners. Your family or business will be featured on a yard sign proudly displayed on the field throughout Jogathon day.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR BUSINESS SPONSORS:

Is this contribution considered a charitable donation or a business expense?
Because your business receives promotional exposure through a banner, the IRS classifies this as an advertising or marketing expense. This allows you to deduct 100% of the cost directly from your business income, bypassing the limits placed on standard charitable donations.

Can the banner feature just our company logo?
Yes, absolutely. The IRS explicitly allows deductions for “goodwill” or institutional advertising aimed at keeping your brand name in the public eye. A clean banner displaying just your company logo completely qualifies for the deduction.

Are there any restrictions on what can be printed on the banner?
To protect both your tax deduction and the school’s tax-exempt status, banners must focus on brand recognition (logo, name, website, or contact info). They cannot feature promotional sales language, price comparisons, or explicit calls to action (e.g., "Call today for 20% off").
